Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in system administration across both Windows and Linux (Ubuntu)environments.• Technical Skills:o Solid expertise in Windows Server core infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, IIS).o Hands-on experience maintaining Ubuntu Linuxin production setups.o Experience with monitoring and logging platforms (Zabbix, Grafana, Graylog).o Knowledge of local email transport setups (Linux SMTP) and Google Workspace administration.o Familiarity with user access management in Azure DevOps.o Proficiency in operational scripting using PowerShell and Bash.o Practical knowledge of enterprise backup strategies and endpoint protection software (Kaspersky).Preferred Certifications• Linux: Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).• Microsoft: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent MCSA/MCSE credential.
Description
Core Windows & Infrastructure Management• Manage and support core Windows Server services, including Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, File/Print services, and IIS web publishing.• Maintain physical server hardware and Hyper-V virtualization environments, handling resource allocation, system upgrades, and patch management.• Oversee user administration and account access for Google Workspace.Linux & System Services• Deploy, configure, and maintain production Ubuntu Linux servers hosting internal, custom, and line-of-business applications.• Manage enterprise monitoring and logging tools, including Zabbix, Grafana, and Graylog.• Maintain local Linux SMTP servers used by internal applications for automated email delivery, as well as external web hosting environments.• Manage developer access and user permissions within Azure DevOps.Operations, Backup & Security• Track system health, storage limits, and resource utilization to resolve performance bottlenecks and avoid downtime.• Troubleshoot issues by analyzing application, kernel, and OS log files; take corrective actions and document preventive measures.• Execute routine data backup processes, perform restoration tests, and maintain disaster recovery procedures across all systems.• Manage Kaspersky Administration Server to enforce security policies, software updates, and scheduled virus scans across servers and workstations.Automation & Optimization• Write and maintain custom scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine technical tasks and improve system efficiency.
