SRI GEMS is seeking an exceptional, versatile, and inspiring piano teacher to join the Creative and Performing Arts Faculty as a full-time, school-employed member of staff. This role sits at the heart of the school’s instrumental music programme, combining the delivery of structured one-to-one piano tuition throughout the school day with accompaniment, performance, and ensemble responsibilities across a vibrant calendar of concerts, productions, examinations, and special events. The postholder will manage their own teaching timetable, delivering up to 53 thirty-minute individual lessons per week, alongside full administrative, communication, and scheduling responsibilities associated with running an active and high-profile 1:1 instrumental programme. The successful candidate will be an outstanding musician and pianist, a skilled, empathetic and engaging teacher, and a highly organised, proactive professional who actively contributes to SRI GEMS’s culture of excellence in the performing arts.
