Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Essential functions
Assists his/her captain or head waiter during the service by staying constantly at his/her disposal.
Contributes constantly to active promotions of in-house sales by optimal knowledge of all services provided by the hotel. Knowledge of the opening hours and promotions of all food and beverage outlets is seen as rudiment.
Is acquainted with the suggestions of the day before starting the shift.
Does the cleaning of all trolleys and pedestal tables.
Is responsible for the polish and mise en place of all cutleries.
Is in charge of filling the sugar dispensers, mustard pots, toothpicks and oil & vinegar recipients.
Is in charge of supplying the restaurant with all linen.
Follows the daily cleaning plan.
Respects the closure plan of the restaurant.
Provides an overall high level of food and beverage service to guests and ensures that guest satisfaction is met.
Knows and understands policies relating to food and beverage and others.
Recognizes good quality products and presentation.
Checks and improves all service standards established by the company.
Provides assistance to the staff when required during peak periods.
Manages wastes by reducing and recycling, changing staff behaviour to carefully use all resources.
The holder of this statement can be asked to take on other tasks in addition to the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.
Supportive functions
In addition to performance of essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
Attending mandatory meetings
Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
Keep work area clean and organized
Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor such as assisting security with disorderly guests.

About the Company
