Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the successful delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects from conception through completion. If you are passionate about innovation, possess strong leadership capabilities, and thrive in collaborative environments, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Lead and oversee complex, multidisciplinary projects across all lifecycle stages, from initial planning and design through construction and handover, while maintaining alignment with client objectives, timelines, and financial constraintsEstablish and maintain transparent, proactive communication with clients, design teams, procurement specialists, cost engineers, planning professionals, construction teams, and occupational health and safety personnel to ensure coordinated project execution and timely issue resolutionAdminister contracts effectively, managing contractual processes, obligations, and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring compliance with agreed termsManage project scope changes through formal change control procedures, analyzing impacts on program, cost, and quality while maintaining comprehensive project documentation and progress reportingDevelop and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional support, identifying emerging opportunities, and contributing to business development initiatives and organizational growthAnalyze project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project resilience and successful outcomesOversee quality assurance processes and coordinate with relevant teams to maintain project standards and deliverablesPrepare accurate, detailed project records and reports using both traditional and digital systems to ensure transparency and informed decision-makingLead cross-functional teams with empathy and assertiveness, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment that motivates team members toward shared goalsQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, multidisciplinary projects in a consultancy or client organization settingDemonstrated expertise in pre- and post-contract project management across the full project lifecycleExcellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectivelyStrong stakeholder management capabilities and experience maintaining robust relationships with diverse teamsProficiency in contract administration and project management processesAbility to maintain accurate project records in both paper and electronic formatsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities in dynamic project environmentsStrong time management and prioritization skillsExperience with conflict resolution and vendor/supplier managementPreferred Qualifications:Academic qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or related field (Master's Degree preferred)NEC3/4 Contract Administration AccreditationChartered Status with professional institutions such as RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, APM, or equivalent organizationProficiency with project management software and digital toolsExperience in quality assurance oversight and continuous improvement initiativesBackground in business development and identifying new project opportunitiesKnowledge of regional project requirements and compliance standards relevant to the United Arab Emirates marketCertification in risk management or advanced project management methodologiesAdditional InformationAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
