Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with 2–5 years of experience in the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for quantity take-offs, cost estimation, tendering, valuation, cost control, subcontractor management, and supporting the commercial and project teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings, specifications, and BOQs.Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and project budgets.Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, contracts, and tender documents.Prepare and evaluate tender documents and quotations.Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.Assist in subcontractor selection, negotiations, and commercial evaluation.Prepare interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor payment claims.Monitor project costs, variations, and financial progress.Identify and evaluate variations, additional works, and claims.Prepare variation orders and supporting commercial documentation.Assist with preparation of monthly valuations and cost reports.Monitor material quantities, wastage, and procurement costs.Maintain proper records of project costs, measurements, contracts, and commercial correspondence.Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Consultants, Procurement, and Accounts teams.Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.Support project close-out, final accounts, and reconciliation.Conduct site visits to verify quantities and completed works when required.Ensure all commercial activities are properly documented and submitted within deadlines.tasks..
