Prepare and review quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and material quantitiesMeasure completed works accurately for interim valuations and payment applications.Monitor project expenditure against approved budgets and identify cost variances.Prepare cost forecasts and provide regular commercial updates to project management.Assist in establishing project budgets, cost plans, and cash-flow forecasts.Prepare subcontractor enquiries, scope of works, and commercial comparisons.Review subcontractor quotations and evaluate commercial and contractual compliance.Prepare subcontractor payment certifications based on verified work progress.Monitor subcontractor variations, claims, and final accounts.Ensure subcontractor accounts are properly reconciled and closed out.Identify, evaluate, and price variations arising from design changes, site instructions, provisional quantities, and other project requirements.Maintain accurate variation logs and supporting documentation.Maintain records of contractual correspondence and commercial instructions.Assist in the preparation of contractual and commercial reports.Monitor payment certification, collections, retention, and outstanding amounts.Maintain accurate records of project valuation and payment status.Prepare commercial bid comparisons and recommendations.Support procurement activities to ensure cost-effective purchasing and subcontract awards.Assist with value engineering initiatives to achieve project cost objectives.Prepare and negotiate subcontractor and supplier final accounts.Ensure all variations, claims, contra-charges, omissions, and approved adjustmentsReconcile final quantities and commercial records.Provide management with accurate cost and forecast information.Support the project team in implementing appropriate cost-control measures.Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Planning, Procurement, Engineering, QA/QC, and Finance teams.
