Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field with 8-12 years of experience in cost control for construction projects, specifically in landscape, infrastructure, or large-scale development projects in Saudi Arabia. Must have strong knowledge of cost control systems, budgeting, forecasting, familiarity with contracts (FIDIC preferred), and advanced proficiency in Excel and cost control/reporting tools (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, or similar). Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills are essential.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to lead cost planning, monitoring, and reporting across large-scale landscape and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The role will play a key part in ensuring financial efficiency, budget compliance, and proactive cost management throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecastsEstablish cost baselines aligned with project scope and contractual requirementsSupport tendering teams with cost data, benchmarking, and historical analysisTrack project costs against budget and identify variancesPrepare periodic cost reports, including earned value analysis (EVA)Monitor commitments, expenditures, and forecast final project costsSupport contract administration, including variations, claims, and change ordersEvaluate subcontractor payments and progress valuationsAssist in cost impact assessments for design changes and site conditionsPrepare detailed cost reports for internal management and clientsCoordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and procurement teamsProvide insights and recommendations to optimize project costsIdentify cost risks and propose mitigation strategiesParticipate in value engineering initiatives to improve cost efficiencyEnsure cost control processes align with project objectives and timelinesRequirements & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field8–12 years of experience in cost control within construction projectsProven experience in landscape, infrastructure, or large-scale development projects in Saudi ArabiaStrong knowledge of cost control systems, budgeting, and forecastingFamiliarity with contracts (FIDIC preferred) and commercial practicesAdvanced proficiency in Excel and cost control/reporting tools (e.g., Primavera P6, SAP, or similar)Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience working on major projects (e.g., ROSHN, NHC, Qiddiya, or similar giga-projects)Background in contractor or EPC environmentsExperience managing high-value projects (100M+ SAR)Key CompetenciesCost analysis & financial managementAttention to detail and accuracyCommercial awarenessStakeholder coordinationProblem-solving and proactive thinking
