We are looking for an experienced Project / Site Engineer (MEP) to join a contracting and construction team and take responsibility for MEP execution across project sites.If you have solid UAE or GCC contracting experience and know how to manage site execution, subcontractors, inspections and testing, this could be a good fit.Position: Project Engineer / Site Engineer (MEP)Location: Dubai, UAEIndustry: Contracting & Construction, MEP DivisionSalary: AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month, depending on experience.Job responsibilities:• Supervise daily MEP site activities and ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications and project requirements • Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and other engineering teams • Review drawings and identify clashes, discrepancies and technical issues • Monitor project progress, resources and material requirements • Coordinate MEP material procurement, deliveries and subcontractor activities • Conduct site inspections and coordinate QA/QC approvals • Prepare RFIs, material submittals, method statements and site reports • Monitor schedules and flag delays or project risks • Support testing, commissioning and final handover • Supervise testing and commissioning of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV systems • Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements and HSE standardsJob requirement:• Relevant experience in MEP construction projects • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline • UAE/GCC contracting experience is mandatory • Experience with residential, commercial, industrial or high rise building projects • Good knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and ELV systems • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office • UAE Driving License preferred
