Job DescriptionPosition Objective:The Project Engineer has the primary responsibility of producing a complete, accurate, biddable, and buildable set of plans for all the structures in a project. This responsibility should be performed with the least possible manpower expenditures. Project Engineer will enhance project management to effectively plan, coordinate, and execute technical projects from conception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders to drive innovation, solve technical challenges, and continuously improve project performance and outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Letting of sub-contracts after assessing the Trade Contractors capability to provide a quantity product as described under sub-contractor selection criteria.Monthly progress claims, payment control and verification of works complete.Variation claims and follows up.Responsible for the direct execution of the works in strict compliance to the contract specifications and requirements.Supervise the quality inspections and testing required by the quality procedures, supervise the procedures for inspection and testing materials.Coordination between sub-contractors.Should notify store keepers of materials approved by the engineers and conditions of storing as per manufacturers recommendation.Coordinate and follow up with site engineers and making sure that everyone on site is fully aware of his role in the construction activity.Any other duties as assigned
