Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Relevant experience in inventory control, warehousing, or stock management (medical/supplies experience is an advantage).Strong knowledge of inventory management practices: GRN, stock reconciliation, FEFO/expiry control, cycle counting.Proficiency in Excel and inventory/ERP systems (SAP or similar systems is an advantage).Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers and documentation.Skills & CompetenciesHigh accuracy and strong data validation skills.Good organization, planning, and time management.Ability to investigate discrepancies and follow up on corrective actions.Communication and coordination skills across departments.Integrity and confidentiality in handling records and inventory data.
Description
Maintain accurate inventory records in the company system (e.g., ERP/WMS/Excel) and ensure stock data is updated daily/weekly as per procedure.Perform stock counts (cycle counts and periodic full inventories), investigate variances, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Monitor stock levels for slow-moving, excess, and fast-moving items; raise replenishment requests on time.Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and goods received notes (GRN), ensuring quantities, batch/lot numbers, expiry dates, and documentation are correct.Ensure proper storage and handling practices, including FEFO (First Expiry First Out) for products with expiry dates.Coordinate stock transfers between stores/warehouses and ensure all movements are recorded correctly and approved.Prepare and submit inventory reports (stock status, shortage/overage, aging reports, consumption/usage reports) to management.Ensure compliance with internal policies and any applicable regulatory requirements related to inventory management (especially for medical/supplies items).Support audits and inspections by providing requested documentation and ensuring traceability for stock items.Assist in identifying process improvements to reduce errors, waste, and stockouts.Support maintenance of labeling, bin locations, and documentation required for stock traceability.
