We're looking for an Event Production Specialist who can turn creative concepts into tangible, unforgettable experiences.Position OverviewThe Event Production Specialist will be responsible for managing the technical, logistical, and operational aspects of events and productions. This role requires strong organizational skills, hands-on production knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure while ensuring every detail meets the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and execute event production elements including staging, lighting, audio-visual, décor, and on-site logistics.Collaborate with creative teams, account managers, and clients to translate event concepts into production realities.Source, negotiate, and manage vendors for production equipment, materials, and services.Create and manage production timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.Conduct site visits to assess venues and determine production requirements.Oversee on-site setup, operation, and dismantling of event production elements.Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met during all event activities.Troubleshoot and resolve technical or logistical issues during events.Maintain an inventory of production equipment and materials.Keep up-to-date with industry innovations and new technologies in event production.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Event Management, Production, or related field (or equivalent experience).1+ years of experience in event production, preferably within an agency or events company.Strong technical knowledge of staging, lighting, sound, AV systems, and event logistics.Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and teams.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event production software is a plus.Key CompetenciesHands-on, solutions-driven mindset.Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality.Ability to stay calm under pressure.Team player with leadership capabilities.
