The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurological assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients with a broad range of neurological disorders. Key responsibilities Conduct comprehensive neurological consultations, examinations, and assessments. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnostic findings. Manage patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, headache and migraine disorders, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and neurodegenerative diseases. Evaluate patients presenting with neurological emergencies and coordinate appropriate urgent management. Request and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations, including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG/NCS, and laboratory investigations where appropriate. Provide appropriate medical treatment and monitor patient response. Coordinate referrals to neurosurgery, rehabilitation, psychiatry, pain management, and other relevant specialties when required. Provide follow-up care and monitor disease progression and treatment outcomes. Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings. Contribute to quality-improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education. Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and preventive measures. Maintain compliance with DoH Abu Dhabi regulations, hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety requirements.
