Job overview Responsible for enhancing on site customer experience, product discovery and maximizing sales and sell through. Category ownership of luxury womenswear and management of key relationships. Responsibilities include on site category maintenance, web/app optimization, launches/campaigns, performance reports, visual merchandising. Functional roles and responsibilities Assure timely and accurate site content, including product images, descriptions, promotional messaging. Ensure accuracy of product information, including sizing, color and category classification, ensuring quality checks are completed for all newly uploaded products. Optimization of product discoverability, including visual merchandising, home page exposure, onsite search, sorting rules, product placement, on site content. Manage mapping and category population so that all products are represented in the correct pages on site. Manage on site launches in collaboration with buying, studio, content and marketing teams. Review live site merchandising daily including links to landing pages, size guides, stock availability. Manage mega nav, ensuring correct navigation structure, seasonal updates, links are working correctly. Own size guides, ensuring correct functionality and updating any new or brand specific configurations. Collaborate with other digital merchandisers on cross site edits for seasonal and promotional campaigns. Analysis of past performance to define campaign strategies, including brands, categories, products to expose. Have good market awareness, regular competitor analysis including pricing, promotions, content, assortment. Daily analysis of customer engagement and sales performance, comparing to budget, previous week and previous year. Identify actions required to meet site trading targets, and opportunities for further growth. Track relevant sales funnel KPIs, identify areas for improvements and own completion of required actions. Identify slow selling styles and increase sales whilst being mindful of margins and stock availability. Track inventory levels and onsite availability of items featured in upcoming campaigns or exposures, to ensure availability at time of feature. Test onsite and marketing promotions, and validate all price changes on staging environment ahead of launch on live site. Review customer journey on staging environment for all on site launches, making necessary improvements. Work with planning and buying teams to identify actions for demand forecast based on ecommerce metrics, including stock/sizing availability or additional range requirements for seasonal events. Work with studio team to ensure product copies and images are consistent, accurate, on-brand, with excellent quality in terms of style, tone and optimization for search and customer experience. Work with CRM team to align strategy for daily communications, and to provide inputs for trading focus. Collaborate with digital marketing team to optimize key categories for SEO. Collaborate with product and tech teams on on-site enhancements and developments relevant to category. Ad hoc reports as needed to support digital merchandising manager and digital trading team. Attends meetings and deputizes for digital merchandising manager as necessary. Identifies improved ways of working and efficiencies within the team. Outline best practices in digital merchandising, share with team through trainings and process documentation. Years of experience 4+ years of online merchandising experience within luxury retail, preferably multi-brand. Knowledge and skills Experience with Google Analytics Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Experience with process optimisation and driving efficiency Ability to work well independently and in a team setting. Strong individual problem solving and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A keen eye for details across both quantitative and qualitative data.
