Requirements
Qualifications include a PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics (or closely related field). Deep understanding of transistor-level design, device physics, and high-speed, low-noise analog circuits is required. Proven experience with EDA CAD tools, custom analog layout, and 3D electromagnetic modeling (including BiCMOS/SiGe technologies). Strong measurement and debugging skills to correlate simulations with measurements, and ability to work across research, academia and industry. Prior exposure to high-frequency (>50 GHz) broadband analog front-end design and experience with DAC/ADC design are valued. Solid grounding in high-precision analog circuit design such as linear regulators and bandgaps is desirable.
