Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location Iraq-Basra, UAE Nationality Any Nationality Salary 7000 - 15000 AED Gender Not Specified Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function Engineering - Petroleum, Mining & Marine Company Industry Oil & Gas We are recruiting a senior ICAPS Administrator & Completion Coordinator for a large-scale Oil & Gas EPC project in the Middle East (Engineering phase in UAE, Execution phase in Iraq). This is a contract-critical role within the Commissioning Team, responsible for full lifecycle implementation of ICAPS and governance of the project completion database in compliance with OPERCOM® methodology. The position is essential for progress visibility, punch control, and successful project handover (TOM). Key Responsibilities ICAPS System Management • Establish and configure the Contractor Master ICAPS database from project initiation. • Define system breakdown, WBS structure, test packs and task types. • Administer daily ICAPS operations including user access, backups and troubleshooting. • Ensure proper deployment across engineering office, fabrication yard and site. • Monitor commissioning progress, punch list evolution and certification status. • Provide data support for planning team (progress curves, reporting dashboards). • Conduct regular joint database review meetings with Company representatives. • Deliver ICAPS training sessions to Company, Contractor and Subcontractor users. Completion Coordination & Handover • Ensure ICAPS functions as the core completion database. • Maintain alignment with engineering databases and EPC systems. • Manage red-line updates and as-built tracking. • Compile and structure commissioning dossiers in accordance with OPERCOM®. • Prepare final documentation package for Transfer of Operation & Maintenance (TOM). • Support Commissioning Close-Out reporting. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering(Petroleum,Oil&Gas), Project Management, Computer Science or related field. • Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience as ICAPS Administrator in international EPC Oil & Gas projects. • Demonstrated experience setting up ICAPS database from scratch. • Strong practical knowledge of OPERCOM® methodology (real project execution experience required). • Experience in commissioning documentation and final handover management. • Middle East and TotalEnergies project experience preferred(Especially for Wellpads, Pipeline network and CPF). • Iraq experience is a strong advantage. • Excellent coordination and communication skills in multicultural environments. • Fluent English (written and spoken). • Willing to mobilize to Iraq site and work under project security arrangements.
