Supervise day-to-day mechanical and MEP installation activities at project sites.Execute works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.Supervise installation of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, pumps, valves, mechanical equipment, and associated systems.Supervise plumbing, drainage, firefighting, fire protection, and other mechanical/MEP installations as applicable.Read and interpret mechanical/MEP drawings, layouts, schematics, shop drawings, and equipment schedules.Coordinate with Mechanical/MEP Engineers, Civil, Electrical, QA/QC, HSE, BIM, subcontractors, and other site teams.Monitor manpower, tools, equipment, and material requirements to achieve planned productivity.Allocate daily work activities to foremen, technicians, and workers and monitor performance.Ensure correct installation, alignment, supports, levels, access, clearances, and connections of mechanical equipment and systems.Supervise installation of AHUs, FCUs, pumps, fans, cooling equipment, water tanks, heat exchangers, and other mechanical equipment where applicable.Ensure proper installation of ductwork, insulation, piping, supports, valves, fittings, and related accessories.Coordinate with civil and structural teams for sleeves, openings, equipment bases, supports, and builders-work requirements.Coordinate with electrical teams for power supplies, control wiring, BMS interfaces, and equipment connections.Monitor work progress against approved schedules and report delays, constraints, and resource requirements to the Engineer.Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and ensure timely closure of NCRs, observations, and defects.Assist in preparing inspection requests and ensure installations are ready for consultant/client inspection.Verify that materials and equipment installed at site are approved and comply with project specifications and technical submittals.Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.Support pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, duct leakage testing, insulation inspection, equipment checks, and other required mechanical tests.Coordinate with testing and commissioning teams for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.Assist in balancing, functional testing, system start-up, and performance verification of MEP systems.Ensure safe working practices are followed, including PPE, toolbox talks, permit-to-work, lockout/tagout, and equipment isolation requirements.Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting, hot work, work at height, confined spaces, and pressure testing.Maintain good housekeeping and safe access around mechanical and MEP work areas.Maintain daily records of manpower, activities, materials, equipment, inspections, and work progress.Coordinate with stores and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of approved materials and equipment.Assist Engineers in resolving technical and site-related installation issues.Coordinate with BIM teams to resolve clashes and ensure installations follow coordinated models and approved shop drawings.Participate in site coordination meetings, inspections, snagging, and progress reviews.Supervise rectification of defects and punch-list items.Support testing, commissioning, completion, and final handover activities.Ensure as-built information and installation records are accurately maintained.Perform other site supervision duties assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Engineer.
