This entails the preparation of basic design, detailed design of the instrumentation and controls part of the projectSPI knowledge / experience is mandatory in Index, I/O List, Data sheets and Loop drawing Offshore design experience and RLE FPSO experience are mandatoryPreparing data sheets, Cause and effect diagrams, logic verifications, Input to interdepartmental interfaces Ensuring that the design is carried out as per the industry standard practices and in conformance with the quality management systemCo-ordination with Project and clientAssisting in the preparation of project proposals and pre-qualification documents in what relates to Instrumentation engineering designIdentification of issues that impede project progress and reporting to Project Managers and Discipline HeadsAssimilating the evolution of new products and technology, and updating oneself on the latest international standards in terms of engineering design practices and their applicationsIdentifying new methodology of work process required for higher productivityPreparation of Construction work packs TBE, VDR and follow-up engineering activitiesQualificationsSkills And Qualifications What makes you remarkable At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. Middle East / GCC experience on projects with Saudi Aramco, Qatar Energy, PDO, etcFully coherent in all international codes and standardsExcellent command of both spoken and written English is requiredEnthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn / Flexible with a can-do attitudeWorking hands on Experience on SPIMust have working knowledge and experience of electrical discipline relevant offshore/onshore oil and gas industry codes, specifications and practicesPrevious experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantageAbout UsWood is a global leader in consulting, engineering and operations for the energy and materials sectors.
