Requirements

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage import and export logistics operations, coordinate customs clearance activities, and ensure timely delivery of shipments while maintaining compliance with customs regulations and company requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate import and export shipments from purchase order until final delivery.Follow up with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transportation companies to ensure smooth shipment execution.Manage all customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with Egyptian customs regulations.Prepare, review, and follow up on shipping and customs documentation, including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB), Certificate of Origin, and other required import documents.Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure all customs and banking documentation is prepared, submitted, and completed in compliance with import regulations.Follow up on shipment pricing, customs duties, freight charges, and clearance-related costs while ensuring cost efficiency.Track shipments, resolve clearance or documentation issues, and provide regular shipment status updates to internal stakeholders.Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt of imported materials and proper documentation.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.2–4 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations.Hands-on experience with customs clearance procedures and import documentation is a must.Good knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations, shipping documentation, and import/export processes.Familiarity with Incoterms, freight forwarding, and shipment pricing is preferred.Good command of Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP system experience is an advantage.
