As a laundry attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens for our establishment, ensuring guest satisfaction through your attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Sort, wash, dry, and fold various types of linens, including bedsheets, towels, and uniforms Operate industrial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines Inspect linens for stains, tears, or other damage, and treat accordingly Apply appropriate cleaning techniques based on fabric type and care instructions Maintain a clean and organized laundry area Manage laundry inventory and report any shortages or issues to the supervisor Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the laundry facility Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens Handle guest requests for laundry services promptly and efficiently Maintain records of laundry processed and chemical usage Qualifications Previous experience as a laundry attendant or in a similar role within the hospitality industry Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads Knowledge of fabric care, stain removal techniques, and proper handling of different textiles Familiarity with industrial laundry equipment and safety procedures Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Basic communication skills in English Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Additional information What is in it for you: Employee benefit card offering discounted Accor rates worldwide Learning programs through our academies Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world About the Company A caring employer providing respect, training and career development for our employees.
