The Group operates across multiple entities and manages large-scale, project-based operations requiring reliable procurement, logistics, and supply chain execution.Job Summary:The Supply Chain Director will lead the Group-level Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, and Subcontractor Management functions. The role will ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant flow of materials and services to support project delivery across multiple business entities.Key Responsibilities:Develop and lead the Group-wide supply chain strategy, standardizing procurement processes across multiple entities and business units.Lead the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services, including RFQs, BOQs, supplier negotiations, and commercial evaluations.Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, and inbound/outbound material movement.Manage import operations and customs clearance, ensuring compliance with Egyptian regulations, documentation requirements, duties, taxes, and customs procedures.Lead subcontractor procurement and management, including sourcing, qualification, contracting, mobilization, and performance monitoring.Develop and maintain supplier and subcontractor evaluation frameworks, including qualification criteria, scorecards, vendor ratings, and periodic performance reviews.Oversee inventory management, warehousing, and logistics planning to ensure materials are available in line with project and field requirements.Negotiate framework agreements, pricing, payment terms, and commercial conditions with key suppliers, subcontractors, and logistics providers.Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable Egyptian import and customs regulations.Collaborate with Finance and project teams on payment terms, Letters of Guarantee, supplier payment cycles, tender pricing, project costing, and supply chain risk assessment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certification such as CIPS, CSCP (APICS), or an equivalent supply chain/procurement qualification is preferred.Training or practical knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations and import compliance is a strong advantage.Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or related functions.Proven experience within telecom, technology, systems integration, infrastructure, or a comparable project-driven industry.Strong experience in project-based and BOQ-driven procurement.Proven experience managing end-to-end logistics, including freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing, and material flow.Hands-on experience managing imports and customs clearance in Egypt, including documentation, duties/taxes, bonded zones, clearing agents, and customs authorities.Proven experience sourcing, contracting, and managing subcontractors, particularly civil works, HDD, installation crews, or similar infrastructure services.Experience developing and implementing supplier and subcontractor evaluation frameworks.Experience managing procurement across multiple business units or legal entities is strongly preferred.Excellent negotiation and commercial communication skills.Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.Structured and data-driven approach to decision-making.Strong problem-solving and risk-management capabilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.Strategic sourcing and procurement management.BOQ-based procurement and RFQ management.Supplier and subcontractor qualification and evaluation.Contract and commercial negotiation.Import, customs, and trade compliance.Freight forwarding and logistics management.Inventory and warehouse management.Subcontractor procurement and performance management.Supply chain cost analysis and optimization.Knowledge of Letters of Guarantee, supplier payment terms, and procurement-related financial processes.Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably Odoo or similar platforms.Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for cost analysis, vendor evaluation, and reporting.Ability to prepare procurement, inventory, supplier performance, and logistics reports.Fluent Arabic and English, both spoken and written.Strong ability to communicate formally with suppliers, subcontractors, freight agents, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders.Ability to build and standardize supply chain processes across multiple Group entities.Ability to manage complex, project-driven procurement and logistics operations.Ability to negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, contracts, and lead times.Ability to ensure timely material availability while maintaining cost and inventory controls.Ability to manage customs and import-related requirements effectively.Ability to assess and mitigate supply chain, vendor, logistics, and procurement risks.Ability to work closely with senior management, Finance, Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams.
