Internship grants you access to working closely with seasoned professionals, providing you with insights that go beyond mere theoretical knowledge.This internship offers a chance to immerse yourself in the diverse real world challenges faced by our clients and to contribute to our mission of delivering quality assurance and trust to the business community.Responsibilities:-Assist audit teams in performing financial audits, assurance engagements, risk assessments, and related audit procedures in accordance with KPMG methodology.-Prepare and maintain audit working papers, audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation under the guidance of senior team members.-Perform basic audit testing, including vouching transactions, verifying supporting documents, and testing account balances and disclosures.-Participate in physical inventory/stock counts and assist with documenting and evaluating the results.-Assist in gathering and analyzing financial and operational data, understanding client business processes, and identifying risks and control considerations.-Work closely with senior auditors and clients, supporting information requests, audit findings, and other engagement deliverables while developing practical exposure to different industries and accounting standards.Qualifications:- Currently pursuing ACCA/CA/CMA/CPA certification.- A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of Audit.- Analytical mindset and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Benefits:At KPMG Kuwait, we value our interns and strive to provide a rewarding experience that enriches both personal and professional development.
