Hands-on experience with WPS processing, payroll accounting, month-end closing, intercompany accounting, and general ledger accounting. Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated Chief Accountant (Payroll) to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll accounting, WPS processing, month-end closing activities, intercompany accounting, and payroll-related financial reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesReview payroll journals prepared by HR and verify payroll postings in SAP.Reconcile payroll expenses, provisions, and related balance sheet accounts.Prepare and submit WPS files and process salary payments through banking portals.Review end-of-service (EOS) calculations and process final settlements.Coordinate with HR and Treasury on payroll and employee-related payments.Process intercompany payroll back-charges and prepare supporting calculations.Manage month-end closing activities, including payroll accruals, EOS provisions, reconciliations, journal entries, and closing schedules.Support quarterly reviews and annual external audits by providing payroll and staff cost schedules.Ideal CandidateBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.5-10 years of accounting experience, including 2-3 years in payroll accounting.Hands-on experience with WPS processing, payroll accounting, month-end closing, intercompany accounting, and general ledger accounting.Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.Strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
