Key Responsibilities:
1. Production planning & execution
Plan and execute daily and weekly production schedules based on demand and dispatch requirements.
Monitor and ensure uninterrupted operation of bottling lines (e.g., rinsing–filling–capping, labeling, shrink wrapping).
Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and achieve production efficiency targets.
2. Quality assurance & compliance
Ensure adherence to BIS, FSSAI, and company quality standards during production and packaging processes.
Monitor parameters such as TDS, pH, and microbiological safety in coordination with the QA team.
Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Conduct line checks to ensure product quality and hygiene are maintained at all stages.
3. Resource & manpower management
Supervise shift operators, technicians, and contract labor to maintain smooth production.
Allocate manpower effectively across shifts and lines.
Train and develop staff on safety, hygiene, and process improvement.
4. Equipment & process monitoring
Monitor performance of critical equipment (R.O. systems, filling machines, conveyors, blow molding machines, etc.).
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with the engineering team.
Record production data, machine efficiency (OEE), and downtime analysis.
5. Safety, hygiene & environment
Ensure adherence to workplace safety, PPE usage, and environmental compliance (wastewater management, PET recycling, etc.).
Promote 5S and lean manufacturing practices across the production floor.
6. Documentation & reporting
Maintain production records, batch reports, and consumption logs for raw materials and packaging materials.
Report daily production performance, wastage, and deviations to the production manager.
Support internal and external audits (BIS/FSSAI/ISO).
