The role is responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and energy-efficient HVAC solutions across all project phases. Lead HVAC system design for: Control rooms, substations, telecom shelters, and buildings Hazardous area ventilation systems Pressurization and smoke management systems Perform: Heat load calculations (HAP/Carrier software or equivalent) Equipment sizing and selection (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust systems) Develop and review: HVAC layouts, ducting drawings, and schematics Material requisitions (MR), technical bid evaluations (TBE) Ensure compliance with: ADNOC engineering standards International codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, ISO) Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil) Review vendor documents and approve HVAC equipment submittals Support procurement and ensure timely material delivery Provide technical support during: Installation Testing & commissioning Resolve site technical issues and ensure design integrity Ensure HVAC systems meet: Hazardous area classification requirements Fire & gas system integration Promote HSE policies aligned with ADNOC guidelines Participate in: HAZOP / HAZID studies Design reviews and safety audits Lead and mentor HVAC engineers and designers Interface with client representatives (ADNOC PMC team) Manage engineering deliverables, schedules, and manpower Ensure quality assurance and control of HVAC deliverables Oversee HVAC system pre-commissioning and commissioning Validate performance testing (TAB – Testing, Adjusting & Balancing) Ensure documentation: As-built drawings O&M manuals Commissioning reports Skills and qualifications What makes you remarkable?
