Source and develop local suppliers for direct materials and production components.Evaluate supplier capabilities, manufacturing processes, technical competency, and production capacity.Conduct supplier qualification activities, including audits, sample evaluations, and production approvals.Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams to ensure material compliance with technical specifications.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering change implementation.Drive localization initiatives by identifying and qualifying local alternatives to imported materials.Register and onboard new suppliers while ensuring all required documentation is completed.Monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.Maintain supplier databases, sourcing records, quotations, contracts, and related documentation.Prepare sourcing, procurement, and supplier performance reports for management.
