Solid Analytical Skills to compare quotations, analyze costs, assess supplier performance, and support data-driven decisions are essential. Relevant experience in spare parts procurement, preferably in utilities, industrial, or technology sectors is needed. Ability to work on-site in Qesm El Maadi and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is necessary. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines are important. Proficiency with ERP or purchasing systems and basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. A diploma or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. This role is responsible for handling day-to-day local purchasing activities related to spare parts, including sourcing suppliers, requesting and comparing quotations, and negotiating prices and terms to meet quality and cost targets. The specialist prepares, issues, and follows up on purchase orders, ensures timely delivery of spare parts, and maintains accurate purchasing records and documentation. Daily tasks also include monitoring stock levels, coordinating with warehouse and maintenance teams to identify spare parts needs, and resolving any delivery or quality issues with suppliers.
