Job description
To offer assistance and supervise the housekeeping operations ensuring that the hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed. Supervise that all designated rooms are prepared as per standards and according to guest requests and needs.
Ensure housekeeping staff are familiar with in-house facilities for the purpose of assisting guests and to ensure and perform proper use of all the equipment and property management system, to have a perfect knowledge of the setups.
Ensure close coordination with the Front Office, Engineering, Food and Beverage, Security as well as Guest Relations regarding usual and unusual guest requests.
Appraise appearance, discipline, and efficiency of all staff under direct supervision and initiate immediate remedial action if necessary. Set performance targets for all housekeeping staff, constantly monitor and increase productivity, help staff improve their skills, and provide support for career development.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality or Room Division and/or significant experience in a similar role
2 to 5 years' experience, depending on education and career background
Competent user of desktop applications and hotel applications
Languages: fluent in English
