We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial and cost management of major construction projects, from pre-contract stages through project completion.
Key responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, cost plans and project budgets
Prepare, review and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-offs
Conduct cost analysis and evaluate project expenditures against approved budgets
Manage the valuation of works, interim payments and final accounts
Review and assess variations, change orders, claims and contractual notices
Support tendering and procurement activities, including the evaluation of bids and subcontractor proposals
Negotiate and manage commercial aspects with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers
Monitor project costs and prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for management
Identify commercial and financial risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project commercial procedures
Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement and Finance teams throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
