Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location UAE Nationality Any Nationality Salary Not Specified Gender Not Specified Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function Engineering - Civil & Construction Company Industry Construction a) Attending to inspection requests submitted by the contractor and taking appropriate action in a timely manner. b) Review submitted shop drawings against IFC drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements, and international best practices and report to MEP engineer/RE c) Report any works carried out by contractors found to not be in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and notify the contractor for appropriate action. d) Monitor the quality of work and assess the safety at the site including health and environmental issues. e) Coordinate with service Authority personnel during inspections & testing. f) Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required. g) Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies of work found at the site and non-conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events in coordination with the MEP engineer. h) Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline-related issues on-site that may arise in coordination with the MEP engineer. i) Witness all testing and commissioning of all plumbing, drainage, HVAC, fire protection, stormwater, and compressed air LPG systems. j) Prepare a snag list prior to taking over and carry out de-snagging &customer home orientation. k) Review all O&M manuals & As Built drawings.
