Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of relevant site inspection experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is preferred, along with sound knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, LPG, and chilled water systems. Familiarity with testing, balancing, and commissioning (TAB) procedures and knowledge of local and international mechanical engineering standards and codes are also desirable.

We are looking for a Mechanical Inspector with 5 years of experience to ensure mechanical works meet approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project requirements.We are working with a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with over 35 years of industry experience, providing comprehensive architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. The company delivers end-to-end solutions from concept design and authority approvals to tender documentation, project management, and site supervision, supported by a team of highly qualified professionals committed to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.What You'll Be DoingInspect mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, pumps, water supply, equipment installation, and associated systems.Verify that mechanical installations are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, specifications, material submittals, and approved method statements.Monitor contractors site activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and project requirements.Inspect delivered materials and equipment to verify compliance with approved material submittals and specifications.Witness testing and commissioning activities, including pressure testing, flushing, balancing, functional testing, and equipment performance tests.Review and verify inspection requests (IRs) and ensure works are ready for inspection before approval.Identify defective or non-conforming work and issue observations / non-conformance reports as required.Monitor corrective actions and verify satisfactory close-out of deficiencies.Maintain daily inspection records, site reports, checklists, and photographic documentation.Coordinate with civil, architectural, electrical, and other disciplines to resolve site interface issues.Monitor installation progress and report delays, technical issues, and potential risks to the Resident Engineer.Review as-built drawings and ensure that installed works are properly documented.Assist with snagging, testing and commissioning, handover, and final inspection activities.Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, local authority requirements, health and safety requirements, and project specifications.Attend coordination and progress meetings when required.Perform other duties related to mechanical site supervision and inspection as directed by the Resident Engineer.What You NeedBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.3 to 5 years of relevant site inspection experience.Preferred QualificationsPreferably within engineering consultancy or construction.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.Ability to interpret mechanical and MEP drawings and specifications.Sound knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and drainage, firefighting, LPG (where applicable), and chilled water systems (if applicable).Familiarity with testing, balancing, and commissioning (TAB) procedures.Knowledge of local and international mechanical engineering standards and codes
