The People & Culture Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining and strengthening the People & Culture Department. Key duties include managing recruitment needs, overseeing colleague procedures, planning department activities, implementing compensation programs, adhering to Qatar legislation, managing headcounts, administering disciplinary procedures, providing HR support, and establishing effective colleague relations. A degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management or Human Resources is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel environment and 2-3 years of experience in People and Culture management or equivalent. International experience in the GCC and/or Doha is preferred.

Located in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha, within walking distance to Souq Waqif, the Museum of Islamic Art and a short distance to the business district, West Bay.About The JobBased at the Mandarin Oriental, Doha, within the People & Culture team, the People & Culture Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining and strengthening the People & Culture Department, so it embodies every aspect of MOHG's Culture and Vision.As a People & Culture Manager at Mandarin Oriental,Doha you will be responsible for the following duties:To work closely with departments, ensuring the hotel's recruitment needs are met to be able to delight our guestsTo manage all vacancies and recruitment functions, in line with budget requirements, reviewing where necessary in line with operational needs.To manage all colleagues procedures with regard to starters, transfers, promotions and variations, plus leaversOversee the day-to-day P&C operations and the workflow of the departmentPlan, organise, and implement activities of the departmentImplement and annually update the compensation programTo adhere to all Qatar Legislation relating to People and Culture To manage and maintain headcounts, ensuring that they are in line with agreed departmental headcount budgetsTo manage and administer Disciplinary & Grievance procedures in conjunction with the Director of People and Culture To provide Human Resources support to Department Heads and colleagues in order achieve the hotel's strategic business objectivesEstablish and maintain effective colleague relationsTo support, develop, implement, and adhere to corporate & hotel People & Culture policies and procedures.Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management or Human ResourcesAs People & Culture Operations Manager, we expect from you: Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5-star hotel environmentA minimum of 2 years experience as a People and Culture Manager or 3 years as an Assistant People and Culture Manager or equivalent roleInternational Experience with GCC and/or Doha preferred Able to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writingAble to learn and apply local laws effectively within a reasonable time frameAble to work with multicultural teamsOur commitment to youLearning & Development.
