Description
Tasks and Responsibilities· Configure, manage, and monitor firewall solutions, including Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Sophos, and Check Point.· Implement and maintain firewall security policies, NAT rules, VPN configurations, and access control lists (ACLs).· Monitor network traffic, security logs, and alerts to identify, investigate, and mitigate potential security threats.· Troubleshoot network connectivity, firewall, VPN, and other security-related issues.· Support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless controllers, and VPN technologies.· Perform regular firewall rule reviews, policy optimization, and security configuration assessments.· Maintain accurate firewall, network, and security documentation.· Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.· Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure secure network design, implementation, and operation.· Maintain compliance with organizational security standards, policies, and industry best practices.· Generate regular reports on firewall activity, security incidents, network performance, and security events.· Participate in incident response, security investigations, and remediation activities as required.
