Requirements
The role requires a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong project management background in large-scale public events or district activations. Role Purpose:Engage a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to act as the dedicated Project Manager for Abu Dhabi Moments District Activations. The SME will lead day-to-day planning, coordination, and readiness activities, oversee event development from a government perspective, and manage the appointed event agency once onboarded, while reporting to and being overseen by Entity.Scope of Work – Project Management & Event OversightLead end-to-end planning and project management for Abu Dhabi Moments district activations in line with approved scope, budget, and timelines.Translate strategic objectives into detailed activation plans, schedules, and workstreams across priority districts.Serve as the primary day-to-day project manager overseeing the appointed event agency deliverables, timelines, and performance.Develop, manage, and track the master project plan, milestones, dependencies, and critical path.Coordinate internal and external stakeholders (government entities, districts, partners) to ensure alignment and approvals.Oversee activation briefs, creative direction alignment, and implementation readiness prior to execution.Monitor budget utilization, cost assumptions, and financial controls within approved envelopes.Manage permits, risk mitigation, escalation issues, and multi-entity coordination requirements.Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle.Key Deliverables•Comprehensive project management plan and delivery timeline.•District activation plans and finalized activation briefs.•Agency oversight and performance tracking reports.•Risk, issue, and mitigation log.•Budget tracking and progress reports.•Final handover and close-out documentationExpected Profile•Strong project management background in large-scale public events or district activations.•Proven experience managing and overseeing event agencies and multi-vendor environments.•Deep understanding of Abu Dhabi government processes, permits, and stakeholder coordination.•Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery management.•Excellent coordination, reporting, and issue-resolution capabilities.
