Role overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, psychologists, psychiatric nurses, social workers, allied health professionals, and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
Provide consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, and management of adult psychiatric disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based pharmacological and psychological approaches.
Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, risk assessments, and crisis intervention where required.
Collaborate with psychologists, primary care physicians, social workers, and other specialists to deliver integrated patient care.
Provide guidance and support to patients and their families while promoting recovery-oriented and patient-centred care.
Participate in clinical governance, multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and medical education activities.
