1. SummaryManages the commercial, financial, and contractual lifecycle across our multi-disciplinary construction divisions. This role oversees accurate cost estimation, procurement, variation management, and final account settlements for diverse projects—ranging from heavy civil works and piling to integrated MEP, solar installations, home automation, and ongoing maintenance contracts—utilizing ERP frameworks to ensure strict financial control.2. Job ResponsibilitiesWBS Architecture & Setup: Establish and maintain a robust Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for all projects, ensuring clear structural division of costs across civil, piling, MEP, waterproofing, and specialized electronic scopes.SAP Cost Management: Input, track, and manage all project commercial data, including budget allocations, purchase requisitions, and actual cost bookings within the SAP ERP system.Pre-Contract Estimation & BOQ: Prepare precise Bills of Quantities (BOQ), commercial budgets, and cost estimates mapped directly to the approved project WBS from tender drawings.Cost Optimization & Profitability: Monitor and control live project expenditures against approved budgets via SAP commercial modules to maintain overall division profit margins within 100% of the target baseline.Procurement & Vendor Negotiation: Package and float tenders for specialized materials and sub-contractors, generating SAP purchase orders and negotiating contracts to achieve a minimum 5% savings on procurement targets.Variation & Claims Management: Identify, measure, and price design updates, site modifications, or maintenance scope additions, updating the WBS financial baselines to secure client sign-off on 95% or more of valid variation claims.Progress Valuations & Billing: Formulate monthly progress valuations mapped to WBS milestones to ensure client certification and cash inflows are processed within contractually agreed timelines.Subcontractor & Supplier Management: Assess, verify, and certify monthly payment applications from sub-vetted vendors through SAP service entries, enforcing back-to-back contract clauses.Final Account & Contract Closeout: Finalize financial claims, resolve contractual disputes, and close out final accounts with clients and consultants to finalize project commercial closure within 90 days of practical completion.3. Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.ERP Expertise: Proven hands-on proficiency in SAP ERP, specifically SAP PS (Project System) and SAP MM (Materials Management) modules, for budgeting, costing, and procurement.Project Controls: Strong mastery of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology for structural cost classification and financial tracking.Experience: 6 to 9 years of proven quantity surveying experience in the UAE, with a track record of handling diverse portfolios involving civil structures, piling works, and complex MEP/firefighting projects.Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in commercial and estimation software such as PlanSwift, CostX, or Candy (CCS), along with advanced MS Excel capabilities.Multi-Disciplinary Knowledge: Strong commercial familiarity with market rates for specialized works, including waterproofing systems, solar net-metering components, home automation integration, and marble procurement.Contractual & Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of FIDIC contracts, PomI (Principles of Measurement International), and local procurement guidelines relevant to Fujairah and the wider UAE.
