Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
Typically 3–7 years of relevant MEP engineering/construction experience, preferably in power, EPC, infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
Good knowledge of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, fire alarm, and associated building services.
Experience in MEP installation, site supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, layouts, schematics, specifications, equipment schedules, and technical documentation.
Good understanding of multidisciplinary coordination with civil, structural, electrical, and architectural teams.
Knowledge of applicable international standards, UAE regulations, authority requirements, and MEP codes.
Experience coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams.
Understanding of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, inspection requirements, method statements, and testing processes.
Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, resource management, and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering/design software.
Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in power infrastructure, substations, transmission/distribution projects, or major EPC projects.
Exposure to MEP works for HV/EHV substations, control buildings, utility buildings, workshops, and ancillary facilities.
Experience with HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, drainage, ventilation, BMS, and building-services integration.
Familiarity with UAE utility/client requirements such as DEWA, TAQA/TRANSCO, or equivalent authorities.
Experience working with major EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and utility clients.
Relevant MEP certification or professional engineering membership will be an advantage.
