Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery and 3-5 years of senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital. A Master's degree in Midwifery/Nursing or a related healthcare field and 5-10 years of senior midwifery experience, including managing a high-volume Labour and Delivery service, is desired. Essential skills include demonstrating the ability to implement the five stages of the nursing process, presentation skills, UAE Labour Law knowledge, computer literacy, cost management, nursing functional competence, effective meeting management, quality and risk management principles, stock control, UAE healthcare regulatory framework knowledge, workforce planning, strong obstetric emergency management skills, knowledge of Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative standards, up-to-date knowledge of DoH Abu Dhabi regulations, and change management and capacity planning skills.
