Job description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Mason to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As an Engineering Mason, you will play a crucial role in executing complex masonry work on large-scale construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to construct masonry structures. Select, cut, and shape various materials including brick, concrete blocks, and natural stone. Mix and apply mortar, grout, and other bonding materials. Ensure proper alignment, level, and plumb of masonry work. Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate project timelines and workflows. Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Troubleshoot and resolve masonry-related issues on-site. Mentor and guide junior masons and apprentices. Stay updated on local building codes and sustainable construction practices. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in masonry or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in masonry work, with a focus on large-scale construction projects. Proficiency in various masonry techniques and materials. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Physical strength and stamina to perform demanding tasks throughout the workday. Advanced problem-solving abilities to address on-site challenges efficiently. Effective time management and organizational skills.
