Description
Manage and supervise all inbound logistics activitiesEnsure materials are delivered on time and according to the required quantities and specifications.Coordinate with Procurement, Warehousing, Production, and suppliers to ensure smooth material flow.Monitor delivery schedules and resolve delays, shortages, damages, or other transportation issues.Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company logistics procedures.§ Manage and control contracts with outsourced transportation.Ensure logistics contractors comply with agreed service levels, prices, terms, and conditions.Monitor contractor performance against agreed KPIs.Verify and approve logistics service invoices against actual services provided and contractual rates.Identify opportunities to reduce transportation and logistics costs without affecting service quality.Support budgeting for outsourced logistics activities.Ensure outsourced transporters comply with company safety requirements.Coordinate with Procurement regarding contracts, commercial terms, and supplier/service-provider performance.Coordinate with Warehouse regarding receiving schedules and unloading capacity.Prepare periodic reports covering logistics performance, costs, contractor performance, and operational issues
