Requirements
The Global Buyer role requires 1-2 years of experience in Purchasing or a Buyer Role, preferably within a fast-moving manufacturing industry. Experience dealing with overseas suppliers and knowledge of shipping/freight/inco terms are advantageous. Proficiency in D365 or an equivalent ERP system, strong financial acumen, commercial awareness, and proven global contract negotiation skills are essential.

With operations all over the world, we celebrate a diverse range of cultures at CPL Aromas and, we offer equal opportunities and flexibilities.Reports ToGlobal Buyer LeadJob PurposeThe Global Buyer will be responsible for:Ensure all raw material demands are analysed and Purchase Orders executed daily in conjunction with the local buyersEnsure global safety stocks are accurate and updated in D365 in line with global sales forecasts and changing demandsTo have zero Purchase Orders without unconfirmed delivery datesTo have supplier lead times regularly updated in order to support smooth running of D365 and CTPTo maximise the potential savings by centralising the purchase of non-commodity raw materials taking advantage of group consolidated demandTasks and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for support to the local buyers and covering their roles during holidays/illness/increased demand or lack of local resource to ensure the Daily buying is carried out and the necessary Purchase Orders raised on timeResponsible for streamlining and harmonising the global buying process To provide a direct link between Global Procurement and local buyers/order placersResponsible for analysing raw material safety stocks and liaising with local buyers to ensure the safety stocks are updated on time in D365Responsible for ensuring global purchasing parameters are kept up to date in D365.
