This role focuses on planning and overseeing indirect tax engagements, delivering technical expertise, providing leadership, and ensuring compliance on complex tax matters.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIndirect Tax Support: Assist colleagues and clients by responding promptly to inquiries, ensuring clarity and compliance with indirect tax regulations.Compliance and Documentation: Contribute to indirect tax compliance tasks, including preparing filings, voluntary disclosures, and notices of objection for dispute resolution.Technical Analysis: Undertake detailed technical research and analysis on indirect tax matters, documenting findings to maintain high compliance standards.Team Collaboration: Support senior team members in managing engagements related to domestic and international transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and audit defense strategies.Quality Assurance: Review and refine indirect tax-related work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards, under the guidance of senior staff.Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, ranging from small private enterprises to large public organizations.Learning and Development: Support the development of presentations and training materials on indirect tax matters, contributing to both internal and external knowledge sharing.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or any related field.
