Description

NOV is seeking a Shop Service Technician to join our team in Broussard, Louisiana. This position is responsible for supporting the service, repair, inspection, and maintenance of ReedHycalog Anderreamers™ while contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality shop operations.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in the service, repair, and inspection of Anderreamers.
- Support the service of NOV ReedHycalog Anderreamers™ in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
- Safely operate shop equipment, including Torquemaster, cranes, and forklifts, in compliance with HSE requirements.
- Complete required documentation and data entry throughout the service process.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment as required.
- Maintain 5S standards and housekeeping in the work area.
- Communicate with management regarding equipment issues, tool condition, product concerns, inspection findings, and HSEQ matters.
- Develop a strong understanding of the repair process to support production and quality objectives.
- Follow all specifications, procedures, customer requirements, and QC inspection standards.
- Participate in training and facility HSE programs.
- Work standard shifts and overtime as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by lead personnel and management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an oilfield shop environment with QC inspection experience required.

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

- Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Ability to follow all HSE and quality requirements.
