Job description
A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced specialist/consultant oral & maxillofacial surgeon to join its expanding surgical and dental team.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical management of conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, face, and associated structures. The role offers an opportunity to work in a modern healthcare environment with advanced surgical facilities and a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities
Diagnose and surgically manage a broad range of oral and maxillofacial conditions.
Perform dentoalveolar, oral, and maxillofacial surgical procedures.
Manage impacted teeth, complex extractions, oral infections, cysts, and benign lesions.
Manage facial trauma and maxillofacial injuries where appropriate.
Perform surgical procedures involving the jaw, facial bones, and soft tissues.
Participate in reconstructive and corrective procedures according to clinical expertise.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized surgical plans.
Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up.
Collaborate with dentists, orthodontists, ENT specialists, plastic surgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate clinical records and surgical documentation.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based clinical practice.
Requirements
BDS, DDS, DMD, MBBS, or equivalent qualification as applicable to the training pathway.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in oral & maxillofacial surgery.
Significant post-specialization surgical experience.
Proven experience in oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures.
Candidates with UK CCT/FRCS, American Board, Australian Board, South African Board, or equivalent internationally recognized specialist qualifications are encouraged to apply.
