Position SummaryThe Site Operations Manager holds total end-to-end accountability for overall facility performance, site profitability, and operational excellence. This role directly oversees daily execution across production, quality, EHS, maintenance, supply chain, financial control, and site administrative/HR operations, ensuring the facility meets strategic throughput goals while maintaining safety and compliance standards.Core Responsibilities & Scope1. Production & Operational ExcellenceDirect daily operations to meet production schedules, yield targets, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) benchmarks.Implement Continuous Improvement (CI) and Lean Manufacturing frameworks (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma) to eliminate waste and optimize process flows.Oversee capacity planning, bottleneck resolution, and operational scaling to support sales forecasts.2. Quality Assurance & Regulatory ComplianceEnforce adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Good Manufacturing Practices).Maintain site readiness for internal and regulatory audits; ensure customer quality specifications and non-conformance metrics (RMA, scrap rates) remain within target thresholds.Establish root-cause analysis (CAPA) protocols for product defects or process deviations.3. Health, Safety & Environment (EHS)Champion a Zero Harm safety culture, ensuring strict compliance with local environmental and occupational safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local labor standards).Oversee site incident investigations, hazard assessments, and continuous safety training programs.Direct environmental compliance, waste management, and sustainability initiatives for the site.4. Maintenance & EngineeringDirect preventive and predictive maintenance strategies (TPM) to minimize unplanned downtime and maximize asset lifespan.Manage facilities management, utility usage, and site infrastructure reliability.Oversee execution of plant capital expenditures (CapEx) and engineering upgrades.5. Supply Chain & LogisticsCoordinate local site supply chain activities, including inventory management, raw material staging, and finished goods warehousing.Drive site-level S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) alignment to minimize lead times and avoid material shortages.Partner with procurement to monitor supplier performance and optimize site logistics workflows.6. Financial Management & P&LDeliver on site P&L targets, controlling fixed and variable operating costs, labor utilization, and material variance.Formulate and manage the annual site operating budget (OpEx) and evaluate return on investment for site projects.Enforce financial controls, internal audits, and accurate inventory valuation in coordination with corporate finance.7. HR & Site AdministrationLead workforce planning, recruitment strategies, organizational design, and talent development for site personnel.Manage employee relations, performance reviews, and labor relations/union management where applicable.Direct general site administrative functions, facilities maintenance, vendor contracts, and security operations.Key Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree (MBA) or PMP is a plus.Experience: 15+ years of progressive operations management experience within a manufacturing ,industrial processing environment, or Construction with at least 3+ years managing multi-functional teams.Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics), Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt preferred), and financial P&L management.Leadership Competencies: Strong cross-functional leadership, conflict resolution, crisis management, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
