Requirements
The Data Network L1 Engineer will be responsible for monitoring network performance using NMS/EMS tools, handling alerts for various network issues (e.g., link downs, service disruptions, VPN issues), logging and categorizing incidents in ticketing systems, performing initial troubleshooting steps, and escalating issues to appropriate teams. A basic understanding of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, MPLS concepts, SD-WAN basics, and Internet & VPN services is required, along with familiarity with monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
