The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing common pediatric conditions while ensuring safe, family-centered care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments and physical examinations for pediatric patients.Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic childhood illnesses.Provide preventive healthcare services, including growth monitoring, developmental assessments, and immunizations.Manage minor pediatric emergencies and stabilize patients when required.Educate parents and caregivers on disease prevention, nutrition, child development, and health promotion.Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medical records.Collaborate with pediatric specialists and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.Adhere to clinical governance, patient safety, and infection control standards.QualificationsMBBS or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution.Completion of an accredited internship program.Valid DOH License or eligibility as a General Practitioner.Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Primary Care with pediatric exposure.Strong knowledge of pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment protocols.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
