Requirements
Requires a minimum of 2+ years of UAE experience in a QHSE role, with a strong preference for candidates from the construction industry. A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Health and Safety/Occupational Health, or Industrial Engineering is mandatory. NEBOSH IGC certification is required, along with familiarity with data analysis tools and an understanding of UAE safety laws and regulations. A valid UAE Driver's License is also necessary.

Job descriptionAs part of the QHSE team the main duty is responsible for the organization Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental (QHSE) compliance and leads continuous improvement initiatives across operations. The position ensures standards are implemented, risks are controlled, processes are optimized, and performance is continuously improved to meet business and regulatory expectations.QHSE Management• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, as applicable) and relevant local regulations.• Lead development, implementation, and periodic review of QHSE policies, procedures, SOPs, and guidelines.• Monitor site operations, identify hazards, verify controls, and ensure corrective/ preventive actions are effectively closed.• Conduct incident investigations (5-Why, RCA, Fishbone) and ensure action plans are executed.• Lead risk assessments (HIRA, JSA, EHS Risk Register) and ensure controls are aligned with operational needs.• Conduct internal audits, supplier assessments, and ensure closure of nonconformities.• Provide technical advice to Area managers/ Supervisors on compliance, legal requirements, and safe operations.• Deliver training/coaching on QHSE practices, emergency response, hazard reporting, and safe behaviors.• Lead, supervise, and mentor area-based QHSE Officers across all assigned locations.Process Improvement Leadership• Process Improvement initiatives targeting productivity, cost, quality, and efficiency improvements.• Map and analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks, wastes, and optimization opportunities.• Drive standardization of processes across departments and enforce control mechanisms.Performance Monitoring & Reporting• Develop and maintain QHSE and operational performance metrics.• Analyze trends, identify recurring issues, and recommend corrective actions.• Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports.Requirements• 2+ years UAE experience in a QHSE role.
