Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in the switchgear or electrical industry within the GCC. Strong understanding of switchgear systems, electrical distribution networks, and relevant industry standards. Established network with utilities, EPC contractors, consultants, and industrial clients. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage. Willingness to travel across the GCC region.

Role PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Business Development/marketing Manager with a strong technical background in switchgear systems (LV, MV, HV) and a proven track record in sales & market expansion across the UAE/GCC. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with switchgear manufacturers, EPC contractors, or electrical distribution companies and will drive revenue growth by targeting utilities, oil & gas, construction, andindustrial sectors. Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and implement business development strategies to increase market share and revenue across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and the MENA region.Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with utilities, EPC contractors, consultants, and industrial clients.Promote switchgear and electrical distribution products, including LV/MV/HV switchgear, RMUs, ATS, and panel boards.Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and government entities (ADNOC, DEWA, SEWA, TAQA, Qatar Petroleum, Aramco, andWater & Sewage Departments)Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial negotiations with the Customers. Generate business opportunities through industry events and exhibitions such as Middle East Energy, ADIPEC, and The Big 5 GlobalUnderstand switchgear specifications (IEC, ANSI, BS standards) and advise clients on product suitability.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.Review tender documents (from utilities, EPCs) and prepare competitive bids.Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends across the GCC, and recommend competitive pricing approaches to maximize market share whilemaintaining profitability.
