Description
The R&D Talent Identification Manager is responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating talent identification initiatives—such as competitions and festivals—within the TAT program. This role ensures that all initiatives support ATRC's vision, foster innovation, and build strong partnerships with key education and government stakeholders.Key Responsibilities Initiative Design & ExecutionLead full-cycle project management for talent competitions and festivals, from ideation and planning to delivery and post-event evaluation.Define competition structures, rules, timelines, and desired outcomes with a focus on technical excellence and learning impact.Ensure initiatives align with the strategic objectives of the TAT program and ATRC.Project Planning & ProcurementPrepare comprehensive project plans, covering budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.Secure required internal and external approvals to launch or enhance initiatives.Lead procurement processes: draft RFPs, evaluate technical proposals, and select and manage suppliers.Oversee contract management and supplier relationships to ensure compliance and high-quality delivery.Stakeholder & Partner EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with education and government entities (e.g., ADEK, ACTVET, MOE, MOHRE).Drive engagement and participation among schools and students, providing clear communication and support.Represent ATRC and the TAT program in external forums and partnership meetings.Operational OversightSupervise the rollout of initiatives, ensuring each phase meets quality, compliance, and delivery standards.Monitor supplier performance and proactively resolve operational issues for seamless execution.Marketing & Events CollaborationPartner with the Events Team to coordinate all event planning aspects.Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and implement promotion and engagement strategies.Ensure consistent branding and messaging aligned with ATRC's vision and the TAT program.Data & Impact MonitoringOversee accurate data collection on participation and outcomes, directly or through suppliers.Lead post-initiative evaluation by analysing performance, gathering insights, and recommending improvements.Prepare detailed reports on initiative outcomes to inform future strategy.Additional DutiesSupport broader TAT objectives and contribute to cross-functional projects as assigned by the line manager.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, excellence, and accountability within the team.QualificationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, STEM disciplines, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)Professional certifications in talent management, career coaching, project management (PMP), or HR are advantageousRequired Experience7–10 years experience in talent development, R&D program management, or educational initiatives.Demonstrated success managing large-scale competitions or talent identification programs.Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with education and government sectors.Proven expertise in procurement, contract management, and supplier oversight.Advanced project management skills (PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage).Excellent data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
