Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering background with practical understanding of industrial mechanical works. Experience in technical sales/business development within oil & gas, refinery, mining, marine, aluminium, cement or heavy industry will be highly preferred.
The person should be technically capable, commercially aware, honest, sincere, responsible, organized and strong in follow-up, with the intention of building a long-term relationship with the company and its customers.
UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
UAE driving licence is an advantage.
Able to work independently and manage multiple customer files simultaneously.

Description
Develop new business opportunities in oil & gas, refineries, mining, marine/shipyards, aluminium, cement and other heavy industries.Identify and approach potential clients, contractors, EPC companies, maintenance companies and industrial customers.Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing customers and continuously generate repeat business.Receive customer enquiries, RFQs, BOQs, drawings, specifications and scope of work and understand the technical requirements before preparing a quotation.Understand and coordinate enquiries related to:Foundry / casting worksSteel and metal fabricationMachining and precision machiningOn-site mechanical maintenance and repairPipeline worksMechanical repair, modification and maintenance worksShutdown/turnaround and industrial maintenance requirementsVisit customer facilities and project sites when required to understand the work scope and collect the necessary technical information.Coordinate with the workshop, machining, fabrication, foundry and site-maintenance teams to determine the correct method, manpower, equipment, materials and estimated working hours required for each job.Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors when outside services, materials or specialist work are required.Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations and negotiate the best commercial terms.Follow up all submitted quotations and RFQs professionally and consistently until the enquiry is converted into an order.Negotiate with customers on pricing, scope, delivery schedule, payment terms and other commercial conditions within company guidelines.Prepare and maintain a complete sales/job file for every enquiry, including customer communication, RFQ, drawings, BOQ, quotation, supplier offers, revisions, purchase orders, delivery documents and related correspondence.Coordinate with management and operations teams after receiving an order to ensure a smooth handover from sales to execution.Follow up project/job progress with the concerned teams and keep the customer updated.Coordinate site visits, inspections, measurements and technical discussions with customers when required.Identify additional work opportunities during ongoing maintenance, repair, fabrication or machining jobs and develop them into additional orders.Monitor pending quotations, open enquiries, ongoing jobs, completed jobs and outstanding customer payments.Study market requirements and identify new industrial clients and projects where Flagtech's engineering services can be offered.Attend customer meetings, technical discussions, site meetings and project meetings as required.Support management in developing new accounts and expanding Flagtech's business with major industrial customers.Ensure that customer requirements and commitments are clearly communicated to the internal team before work starts.Handle customer complaints and coordinate with the relevant department to resolve issues professionally and quickly.Protect the company's commercial interests by ensuring that scope, cost, delivery time, payment terms and additional work are properly documented and approved.
